Lennon

Like the other Lenin, John Lennon and his mates started a revolution in music that has lasted the test of time and more.

The top pic is how i always remember John but by time of the bottom pic he had changed and just wanted to live his life in the city he loved New York in peace and quiet, making music when he felt the urge. But he wasn't allowed to.
John would be 72 today, imagine if he had been given the chance...

It Was 30 Years Ago Today

It feels strange and odd that John Lennon has been dead for 30 years, his music stays alive (with and without the Beatles) and so does his spirit. I was watching Monday Night Football when Howard Cosell announced the news that John had been shot and then later was dead, i was shocked and numb from the news.
I grew up with the Beatles, i can't explain how much the Beatles were a part of our lives, you just had to be there. With his death a door was closed, i never thought the Beatles would ever get back together.
Imagine if more people listened to his words.
Thank you John.

John Lennon

He would be 69 today. Happy Birthday John.
I can still remember the night he was murdered, i was watching Monday Night Football and Howard Cosell broke the news. His assassin gets to live to be an old man but not John, i wonder what music we lost on that night.
