SS Leno Sinking

Jay Leno is sinking in the ratings and it couldn't happen to better backstabber, i think people caught on to his "i'm innocent" act and are just not buying his schtick any more. He's getting lower ratings than Conan did and Letterman is beating him.
Finally America see's how un-funny Jay Lamo is.

The King Of Lame

Well the King of Lame has returned to the Tonight Show, yep Jay Leno is back with his out of date gags and lame monotonelogue..."Forget the sleeping pills Martha, Leno is on..we'll be asleep by midnight!".
My suggestion is go to bed right after your late local news or watch something funny like Letterman.
Remember to miss his "exciting and really isn't her 15 minutes of infamy over with by now" guest tonight Sarah "I have my answers written on my hand" Palin.

The Future Of Television

Or as NBC wanted you to believe, the Jay Leno Show. Seems it wasn't, the ratings are beyond terrible and NBC affliates are threatening to abandon the show because of their falling 11:00 local News ratings.
I watched the show once and found Jay un-funny and the show amatuerish and clunky but many shows are like that when rushed into production with no real focus of what they wanted, Jay is best when he's a guest or behind a desk and letting others be funny, having him try to a Carol Burnett style variety/sketch show is way beyond his talent (and i'm only guessing this is what they wanted, NBC just wanted something cheap to make and not have to foot the bill for scripted tv shows).
I'm guessing the show has never found itself or gotten any better, the constant ads run on the local NBC station touting how FUNNY it is and how Jay is the "FUTURE" of tv turned me off on it.
So now it seems, if rumours are true that Jay will be shoved to a half hour at 11:35pm and Conan on the Tonight Show (another show who's ratings have tumbled and "love him or hate him" Letterman's have skyrocketed) will begin at 12:05am.
Both Jay and Conan are said to be resisting the move.
I have nothing against Jay but this whole thing has been a trainwreck since day 1 and he didn't deserve this but i'm guessing a raise will help. ;)

Well Jay Leno's ratings keep dropping but i read online that that was expected and everything is going as planned (planning like this sunk the Titanic). The seasons of CBS and ABC tv shows are winning,even the middle range rated show Castle is beating Jay (his ratings would be even lower if Fox ran shows at 10) but since NBC is a 4th place network i guess this must be a win win situation for them (although the ratings are down from last season at this time for them) Jay's show is cheap to make (except for Jay's salary) and NBC loves cheap.
I don't and won't watch Jay because he's not funny anymore but i do wish the show would go away so we don't have to deal with the endless promos for it, it's not the greatest show to pop up on tv in decades as they try to claim in the ads.
To me this pic shows Jay stiff and awkward sitting there without his desk and i've heard the filmed comedy bits are terrible,don't know haven't seen any.
It just seems like a whole ego trip for the head of NBC, i wonder when he'll get a golden parachute and shown the door after his success of making NBC a 4th placed network.
Maybe Jay will succede but it'll be without me.

Dear NBC

Just wanted to tell you that your new too much hyped show "jay Leno" is not hip or cutting edge humor, it's full of the same old Leno routines he's run to death on the Tonight Show (where if you had an ounce of brain matter you would have left Jay, he beat Letterman every night and now you've lost that edge to Letterman with the road kill that is Conan O'Brian). Now i'm sure Jay's usual audience is watching now (until the new seasons start on ABC and CBS next week) but you aren't going to catch those young viewers you seem to crave. Let's face it, Jay is looking old and his act is making 80 year olds nostalgic for the Borscht Belt.
Hey at least you might beat FOX and CW,they don't run shows at 10pm!

Jay Leno

I used to be a real big Jay Leno fan but i realize this was back in the late 70's and the 80's by the 90's he seemed to be tired of his act, so he either backstabbed Dave and Johnny Carson to get the Tonight Show gig (it depends on whom you believe in this story) or won it on his own merits. Jay was a hit and routinely clobbered Dave in the ratings (who went to CBS and has never spoken to Jay since). Now to me Jay was funny in small doses, i tried to watch his Tonight show but he changed and just fawned over the guests and did a bunch of butt kissing (maybe he changed as the years went by, but i wouldn't know) and killed the Tonight Show for me, just too much Jay for me.
So after years of making millions for the slowly killing it self NBC network (i think NBC would be gone now if it weren't for the Law & Order shows)the bozos who run NBC now decided Jay was old and they needed a new host for the Tonight Show...so they pushed Jay out and gave the show to Conan O'Brien,now Jay isn't hurting here he got a nice fat buy-off check and then i guess second guessing themselves NBC decided to give Jay a primetime show at 10 every night...cheap to make (except for Jay's salary) and a chance to get rid of all those pricey drama shows and put a bunch of people out of work in Hollywood and if Conan bombs and Jay's show isn't a big hit as they expect...they have Jay to stick back on the Tonight Show!
Well so far Conan dying in the ratings, he really dosen't fit the format of the Tonight Show..he's trying to do his Late Night show and it isn't working.
So as i ramble too long i'll get to the point, i missed Jay's first night because i fell asleep, heard it wasn't much different from his Tonight shows and many were underwhelmed (i think having Kayne "oops i did it again" West on the show boosted the ratings) so ok tonight i tune into to see this fantastic great show (if you believe the NBC hype) Jay walks out,crowd goes apeshit,band is too loud and Jay high Five's and begings reading his cue cards, i know they all read the jokes off cards but Jay was just stopping and reading them very un-natural of him and then he does Kayne jokes and starts "acting out" the jokes, i mean i never saw Jay do this,his laid back funny wsie guy act was gone and here was a guy doing over the top schtick, he seemed to be trying too hard and the jokes weren't that funny. Seeing this i thought "I wonder who's going to win Big Brother?" and changed the channel and i really didn't want to see his BIG GUEST of the night Tom "coo coo for coco puffs" Cruise.
I won't be watching tomorrow because Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth is on SyFy and i doubt i'll watch again this week. Maybe he'll be a big hit but i won't be there.
Take the money and run Jay, NBC make another Law & Order series.
