I must be old, i seem to not watch shows that others love and watch shows they seem to hate. LOL
For different reasons i never got around to watching some of these shows or watched them and they didn't grab me. Now i can go back and start over with a show and love it, like i did with Buffy.
So popular shows i don't or have never watched :

Heroes

American Idol
Smallville
Any of the Battlestar Galactica remake/spinoffs
and a few others past and present
Now here's some shows i like and just seem to rub people the wrong :
Two and a Half Men
Family Guy
Simpsons
Amazing Race
Survivor
Ghost Hunters
to name just a few

Wizards of Waverly Place
Seems a lot of people like The Big Bang Theory but i have a theory (his pun intended) that after another year or so the usual "fan" backlash will start like it has with many shows about hos the show isn't funny, i see this with The Office (which to me seems like a show now of a bunch of actors wanting to get out of their contracts and be in the movies) and the Simpsons. I don't mind shows that last longer than 3 or 4 seasons like Law & Order, NCIS,House.
My i'm chatty tonight and might even came near a point, wonders never cease.

I watched two episodes of Heroes. It was awful. I watched the first mini-series remake thingy of Battlestar Galactica and hated it too. I also hated Dexter, and Weeds, and 30 Rock. In fact I've disliked pretty much all the modern TV shows I've watched.
ReplyDeleteFor me TV ended after the 90s. I liked 90s TV, especially The X-Files and Xena. And Ultraviolet, most awesome vampire TV series ever.
