Good heavens, what's going on over there. This is like something you'd see in L.A. or some country in the Middle East.

    Yes, it is weird, isn't it? Every so often this seems to happen here - a strange summer of rioting every ten or so years I think - something sparks it off and then it just spirals out of control. There's been a lot of reasons to mistrust the police here lately, a lot of scandals and corruption, etc. and that seems to be at the root of it all. I wouldn't like to live in London at the moment...

    Yeah, it's like the burst of violence we get here in the US in the bigger cities and it's about every 10 years also. I feel a lot of pent of anger here in the US.
