Doctor Who

I enjoyed this Christmas gift of a special from Doctor Who, the more i see of Matt Smith i believe he is the Doctor. He's much different from my favorite Doctor of all time, Jon Pertwee. He still reminds me of Patrick Troughton which is a good thing, Smith and the Moff have brought back the fun and magic of Doctor Who and i hope they stay for the 50th annivesary of the show. Back to the special, it had magic, thrills and holiday angst and that ending..well i'm sure mnay a Whovian shed a tear for the Doctor (and i think Smith played the scene without the over the top angst we would have gotten from Tennant or Eccleston, had a bit of Tom Bakerness to it).

It looks like everything has been sorted out and i won't be going off line. Whew, i can't tell you how much stress has been taken off me, i was as we used to say in the 70's..freaking out.

Unless there is a miracle i'll be going offline on the 27th of this month. I have no money to stay online and this looks like the end of my nearly 20 years online.

This month had been a nightmare.

Friday Night Movie

Watched one of the best movies ever made tonight and one of my top 50.

The movie is a classic with action and adventure, No crappy cgi like most movies today and thank goodness no 3 D. It's a type of film making that seems lost now, great actors,story and directing, Steven Spielberg really used to know how to make a great movie. Raiders never gets old.

Polar Bear Coke Cans

Looks like Coca Cola has made their biggest blunder since "New Coke" with the Holiday all white Polar Bear cans. It's caused confusion with the faithful coke drinkers out there who've had trouble finding regular Coke on the shelves next to Diet Coke which has a similar color scheme.
One thing Coca Cola needs to understand is that they're not Pepsi and you don't mess with the tatse,look of regular Coke. Coca Cola has stopped making the white cans will have the polar bears on the regular red colored cans starting next week ( the white cans were supposed to have hung around until Feb.).

Help save the Polar Bears in either can, it's a good thing.

To me it's not Christmas time until i see the Charlie Brown Christmas Special and then and only then does it feel like Christmas.

I think i might post Christmas themed Peanuts pics this month, maybe it'll spread the Charlie Brown goodness to you all this Holiday season.
