Just Watched

Dreams

via my LJ

I wonder if i'm the only one who's had a dream of the cast of the Big Bang Theory, the Monkees and all the Pythoners (even Graham Chapman who's really dragging that "I'm all dead" out).
Seems i and some friends (i figure some online chums from Tumblr here but didn't get a good look at them) were talking to the Monkees (even Mike Nesmith was there) about how great it would be if they'd appear on the Big Bang Theory, they thought it was wonderful idea and only in dreams and movies we're making the episode and Monty Python was on the episode too but they forgot Terry Gilliam!
Now Terry G was most peeved about this and started a protest to be included and naturally the episode was being filmed at what looked like the Addams Family house. The Pythons were all running about in various costumes from the show and the movies and being silly and rude at Terry G and the protesters and by now the Monkees had vanished from the dream.
For some reason i was now the guy who plays Leonard on BBT and i was taking Gilliam's side and wouldn't do the episode...well what heppens next? yep that's right the whole set falls into a hole but no one was hurt but mad at me aka Leonard. Now faster than you can Charlie Sheen, i'm fired and the girl who plays Bernadette comes to tell that i'm fired and they all were glad to see me go..then she turns into this blonde girl who was in a dream the night before and that's where the dream ended.

Welcome to my world

It's an odd place.
Last night people where parking all down the street to go to a local resturant/bar, most seemed to be college kids (local college is Flagler College downtown in St. Augustine). While looking outside i see a young lady walking in my yard, cute with light brown hair and looked like she was wearing a big sweatshirt, she looks around and starts to squat down and relieve herself...well i hammered on my window and yelled at her (no i'm not that much of a perv that i want to see a girl pee in my yard, i don't like my yard used as a bathroom) she looks up and screams and runs away.
Really quite funny but hey you take your chances trespassing to pee in my yard.

Films I've Never Heard Of

The Fourth Tenor (2002) starring Rodney Dangerfield, i haven't watched it and not expecting it to be much of a film. I'm not even sure if it was ever released to theaters, i'm guessing it was straight to DVD. The movie was made a couple of years before Rodney passed away and what i've seen of the film while grabbing a couple of screencaps, Rodney wasn't looking all that well. I'll let you know what i think of it when i watch it.

Invisibles

Nice little British crime series that starred Anthony Head and seems to have only run one series back in 2008. I totally enjoyed the stories about the "The Invisibles" trying to stay retired from crime but being dragged back into the game.

On region 1 DVD from Acorn.

Two And A Half Men

I like the show, so sue me. It's not the greatest and it surely isn't the worst sit com (i mean really have you ever seen the crap Fox,CW have spewed out?).
I'm not in the crowd that hates Charlie Sheen or cares what he does with his personal life, i just happen to like a show he does.
I love Jane Lynch but even she can't get me to watch Glee (and she used to be a semi-regular on, yep you guessed it Two and a Half Men).
I'd like to see the show come back but if it dosen't that's the way it goes.

Movies On DVD

I think i've done this before here but sure somewhere else, like LJ and a couple of my Blogger chums posts list and sometimes reviews of the movies they've watched. Well no reviews from me, i am the worst reviewer in this Universe and several others. So here are the movies i've watched on DVD for the past few months. I figure i have to fill the E.B. with something.

Private Navy Of Sgt. O'Farrell (1968)
My Man Godfrey (1936)
Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets (2002)

Oh That Batman in Narrow Escape!

"Good thinking old chum, setting Wayne Manor of fire..Alfred will never know we ate all his fig newtons!”

Bloody Michael Caine

Some blogs give you cats saying funny quotes but that's not good enough for the E Banana! I give you my favorite actor with words of wisdom (or otherwise) by me. Enjoy!

“O.K. Readers, just soak in my coolness because i am BLOODY MICHAEL CAINE!”
“Hold it…i just realized something, i am the bloodiest and coolest actor to have ever lived!”
“Wait a sec..i’m phoning this bit in…”
